i don't know.......depends on what kind of friendship you have. if it is a casual just plain innocent friendship, then that isn't wrong. i talk to my ex-husband and my husband and he are friends. but that is all we are.
anyway, is your wife friends with her too? and if they know each other then what can be wrong with that.

My mother, married to my father until he died 37 years later, received a phone call every year on her birthday from a college sweetheart. If my father happened to answer the phone he gave it to mom and walked out of the room. Mom always had a little twinkle in her eye after the phone call. The bf had married and had his own family and they exchanged information and whatever. My parents had a remarkably happy marriage.

I'm married and talk to a girl that I've had a crush on since I met her. It's not wrong if nothing happens. You have to ask yourself though, would it be ok for your spouse to do the same? If it's ok with you than fine. Good luck!

I believe it's okay as long as your spouse knows you're talking to your past-sweetheart and it's just that, a past sweetheart. And of course, if you have your spouses approval.

1. Why?
2. Rule of thumb....do not say or do anything you would not do if your spouse was right next to you....if you can't do that, then it's wrong.
