Some advertising on the front of trucks and buses is printed with the letters reversed. This makes it difficult for me to read.. Why is this done??

So you can read it in your rear view mirror when they are behind you.

The other responders are right about the mirrors. The next time an ambulance comes up behind you, look in your rear-view mirror and you'll be able to read the letters on the front.

Ignore snide responses like the one from Gary K, who called you a "dummy". Yours is a perfectly legitimate question. People like him love to find excuses to insult other people. There's nothing you can do about it except pay no attention to it.
