a mayor in a texas city is trying to pass a law banning pepole from saying the N word if that law passes there wouldnt u think that other so calle dracial slurs no matter what race its directed at should be passed as well , and do u think that the law should also includ the N word that ends in A as well , no matter how u say it its still the same

Such a law would be a clear violation of the first ammendment to the constitution. A number of years ago the supreme court upheld the right of someone to wear a jacket with the word 'f__k' on it, under the protection of free speech. There's no reason why this should be any different.

So many of the freedoms established in the Bill of Rights have been slashed away the past few decades, including the right to speak freely and openly. Freedom is on the decline at an accellerated rate due to the agendas of political correctness and in the name of "homeland security." I'm not a fan of the N word. How far we have come from the philosopy of Voltaire who said, "I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it."

No stupidity is legal. And should always be. A jails are overcrowded enough as is with out putting the ignorant behind bars for their verbiage.

no, N word is not just directed to blacks, it also include whites that are unkind to other fellow human beings.
