This question was asked yesterday, by me. I believe you are referring to Hounddog - where Dakota has a scene that she acts like she's raped in.
Here are a couple of answers I received:
I don't have any issue with Dakota appearing in this type of scene. She wasn't thrown into the role with no knowledge of the scene, and as a minor her parents had to be involved as well. And at 12 years old, she is a seasoned actress.
The scene was created to be a disturbing image to the audience, but you have to remember that they call it "movie magic" for a reason - the actors are only part of what makes a scene come to life. And while the actors did their job in helping to create a realistic scene, that doesn't mean that they experienced what the character experienced.

This is 'Hollywood' sanctioned child pornography.
If anyone else had made this kind of movie scene no one would doubt they should go to jail as a child molester. It doesn't matter that the under aged actor was never actually raped or that the under aged actor was not actually harmed.
These elitist "Hollywood Artists" think they get a pass because they are so sure they are so much smarter and more sophisticated then the rest of us.
They make me sick.
As you can see - it's a pretty divided topic! I still am not sure what my thoughts are on it. I don't want to place judgement w/o seeing it first, but I am not sure I want to see a depiction of a child being raped.

Charlotte's Web was real good. Dakota Fanning did a great job. I heard it took 40 days or so to do one scene...Dakota sure had patience.

She is a huge little actress very annoying to %. her ideal I enjoyed i'm sam uptown females Dreamer and Charlottes information superhighway have not seen or heard of Houndog nonetheless, have 10 of those titles in my series

Disappointing very disappointing that they are having her do things like that i haven't seen but I've heard its not any good and i don't plan on seeing that. this movie That movie is going to open doors for more terrible things in children movies. America is slowly becoming desensitized to whats right and whats wrong.

Most any movie with her is good.I just hope this new one "Hound dog" that is causing some contrversy is not her down fall.
