Geez, i dont know! that is so very sad and i am so sorry for whoever this has happened to! i know they always say you should not say things like "I know how you feel" cause usually you do not. i think your best bet is to just let her know you are there for her and willing to help in any way you can and when she is ready to talk, you will be there!

There is nothing that I could say that would ease the pain for some one who has lost their only child to suicide.I could on the other hand just be their for them whether it's pottering around their house making cups of tea, lending a shoulder for them to cry on or an ear to listen to them talk and express their grief.

Wow. This is the second suicide question on this site tionight. This is something that hits close to home so all I can say is I'm sorry. My prayers are with you.

I would let my actions speak for me. Words might hurt her more now so I would see to it that her basic needs are met i.e. cooked meals, laundry & house work, hugs, music. When despair kicks in, sufferers forget to eat and bathe and she won't sleep well.A bottle of pure lavender oil might help soothe her. Just bringing her food, if you can or ordering it over phone and having it delivered (this can be done online via credit card - if she lives far from you) to her would be a gift. Please take her a pizza from us on YA. :) (hug 4 U 2 )

I really don't know what you can say except that you are sorry for her loss and be there for her when she needs a friend to depend on.

any situation along those lines = pain stakingly hard. i guess just over your sorrows(dont over power it though she has enough ppl doing that already and it prob makes her think about it even more) and tell her your there for her if she needs you

there's nothing you can say, just be there for the person and let them know if they want to talk about it you are there for them, don't ask alot of questions or say stuff like " i know its difficult" "time will heal" or other stupid stuff like that

Wow, what can you say? Nothing will make her feel better right now. She will just need time.
