Cook him his favorite dinner, give him a bath (you wash him), dry him off, lay him down on the bed, and you make love to him. He doesn't have to lift a finger or do a thing. If there's something sexual that he's wanted to try, give it a shot.
I did this for my boyfriend once, and he spent the whole week on cloud nine.

I think you are going in the right direction -- especially on Valentine's Day, it's the thought that counts! Is he the romantic type? Or the more guy-type? Either way, you could rent a romantic video (frex: Shakespeare in Love if #1, Mr. and Mrs. Smith if #2), have a romantic supper at home, and finish it off with sweets. Fruit dipped in melted chocolate or whipped cream and fed to each other is *very* romantic. Even guy-guys tend to like food.
(-: I'm sure you don't need any hints in the physical department. Do what feels right, as far as that goes!

Take your man to a classy restaurant and order the best wine with your dinner. It is also the best time to exchange gifts there as well. Make your own card and write the best poem from your heart. When you conclude what you writing give thanks to God for being in each other lives.
Afterward, go home, dim the lights, put on some nice slow music and slowly dance to it. Occasionally, give him kiss on lips and let him know how much you appreciate being in his life.
Find a comedy-romance movies day before, and sit cuddling with each other for the rest of the night. Once you finish we the movies make love to him.
**Don't go to bars or/and dancing because that's where unexpect trouble can happen.
**Don't go with friends anywhere because this is a personal love between you two, friends can only be in your way.
**Don't invite family to your home, because you just want to look into eyes of your man you without family members acting their ways.
God Bless
