There are no other people like the Americans anywhere else in the world. So why should the USA model itself after other countries where the policies are designed for a different kind of people.

Switzerland - it's politically neutral. The U.S. spends more on its military than all other nations COMBINED, leading to a debt near $9,000,000,000,000.

Imagine if we spent that much on health care, education and/or the environment...

The world macroculture is basically that of the United States of America. So culturally, America has conquered the world. The world has patterned itself after us, not the other way around.

I say we should model ourselves after Disney World! Think about it, a land where dreams and opportunities are endless...until you wake-up and realize that you are paying taxes for losers who don't want to work. Good Luck!

Canada! everyone loves canada because they don't seem to be a threat to anyone. They are all cool and say aye! and stuff and I really wish I could live there they have perscription drugs really cheap too Lol.

no country is obligated to follow anyone's customs. the US shouldn't have to model itself after anyone else.
