Don't put your purse on the floor, or a hat on a bed.
Also, if a wild bird flies into your house there will be
a death in your family.

Nope.
Coz I don't believe in superstitions.
People resort to superstition when:
-they are not sure of the outcome of what they have done or have decide;
-they feel insecure about the future;
-they don't prepare for the future or they don't want to prepare for the future;
-they want to feel relax on the uncertainties of the future;
-they are afraid to face the consequences of their works or decisions;
-they are refusing to accept the calculated consequences of what they have done or decided;
-they are too lazy to plan and work to ensure a good future.
Superstition is the most convenient and effortless way to face the next moment, next days and the future. But it is very unwise because it doen't offer any certainty.
I have asked many people how were they guided or prepared in their businesses, lovelife, career or decisions, by their superstitions, but almost nobody can say that they were helped by superstitions.
I have violated so many superstitions to prove that they are all wrong.

I used to bowl in a league on Wednesday Nights...and I used to do a few things that you might find a little off-the-wall...
1) I always bowled in shorts and a Starter jesey for comfort (during the winter, I'd change into the shorts at the bowling alley). But if I bowled well, I'd wear the same shirt (washed every week, of course) until I had a bad week...so if wore the Marino shirt and shot a 550 series, I'd wear the Marino shirt again the next week, and every week after until I did poorly.
2) If I had a bad first game, I would always go down to the candy machine and get a box of "Mike and Ikes." I had to eat the first ten pieces before my first shot in the second game, and the rest would be eaten as needed.
3) The alleys I bowled at did not have automatic scoring at the time....I would only keep score when I was doing well.
4) You're familiar with the seating area right next to the lanes you're bowling on, right...well, in between frames I would stand behind that area...unless we were going to the tenth frame and trying to hang onto a lead...then I'd move down there to sit.
Stupid, huh? And if I joined a league again tomorrow, I'd do the same thing.
Oh, and I kept an Al Oliver baseball card in my bowling bag.

I don't know if I believe in Friday the 13th or not, but I think deep down, I maybe am a little more cautious that day.
On the other hand, though, I am careful about walking under ladders too, but that is in the interest of safety, not particularly superstition.

nope. i don't think you should waste time with superstitions when you could be doing something else. i mean if there was a superstition that if you jump off bridges it's good luck. who would do that? there's another one...don't walk under a ladder. i do it everytime, nothing happens. this is one that many people believe
in, if a black cat crosses your path then run it over.
