If you ask a question, or if someone is stating something to you, do you take their answer or response or whatever it may be, to be what they really think? How do you converse with people? I say what I think, and think what I say, so there are times when I am totally confused about what people mean. Am I the only one who has this issue? For those who don't say what's on their mind, why don't you? I understand that there are certain times and places for things, but also, I can't look at someone's butt and read their mind, which is what some people seem to expect me to do. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I encountered this exact problem today. I asked my brother-in-law if the tv was too loud, just to be considerate. He said, "No, it's fine". Ten minutes later, my husband tells me to turn the tv down because it's too loud, and is bothering his brother. When I told him what his brother said, my husband responded, "He's just saying that to be nice". How the h*** am I supposed to tell the difference? Just tell me for crying out loud. All we have to go on is what people tell us in their own words. If they don't tell you the truth, then that is their problem, not yours.

u know how many jobs i used to go through because i thought just like you? i once gave my boss wart remover because i got annoyed that he kept touching the food while having warts at a taco bell. this is when i was a kid. needless to say i was fired shortly after that. i hate when people say if i have something to say i am going to say it to your face. just so you know it is a lie and people just want to make themselves sound cool by saying it. the truth is people want you to lie to them and flatter them. u ever wonder why it is always the butt kissers who get ahead in life? the people who say what is true are usually persecuted. some with lessor effects then others. think about it the worlds great men who tell the truth what happens to them? a bullet through their brain that is what. malcom x, jfk, abraham lincoln, nelson mandella (imprisoned for years) many of the worlds leaders just get offed. why because they attempt to spread truth.
