I bought my girlfriend a male stripper for her birthday. Well right in the middle of the show, her dad came home. He knew I set it all up cause iv pulled crap like that before just not that bad. I dont think he will ever like me again no matter what i do. am i right??

I would say he is more annoyed than anything. He has every right to be. You said right in the middle of the show he came home. Wouldn't you want to discuss doing something like that with your girlfriend's father before you did it? That was a bit disrespectful in my opinion. I had a problem with my one of my son's friend. He was under the impression that it was OK for him to do what he wanted in my house because of his friendship with my son. When I told him there were certain things I didn't allow, he asked isn't this his house too? I said no, it most certainly is not his house. I said this is my house, my son just lives here. I told him now that we have gotten that out of the way, please show me some respect and do as I asked. You should have cleared it with the dad before you brought a stripper into his home. Apologize, you owe it to him. Next time save yourself the stress, get permission first or have the stripper appear somewhere else.

It's true, my stepdad hated all my boyfriends, until the one i've been with for the longest. He went up to my stepdad one day and just started up a conversation and everytime my stepdad tried letting it die down he kept it going. Talk to him about something you might have in common such as fishing, cars, or hunting. good luck, if you stick around for a while then he'll come around too.

Unless your girlfriend is underage her dad needs to get over it and if he can't, screw him, he'll find some reason to not like you anyway. Just apologize and tell him it was for a gag and you're sorry he was offended and let it go. Good luck, it's no fun having a partners parent hate you. I know from experience, but they love me now so it's all good. Never say never !!!

seems like you are right.
to post this question you obviously care what he thinks, so I think you need to ask yourself why you keep pulling crap like that.
He needs to see that you respect his daughter, and to him that would not be showing her respect. Think would you want to see that for your daughter?
