You must first learn to spell doctor! A doctor requires 4 years of college, four years of medical school the two years residency. A police officer requires a high school diploma. Having a college degree or military experience is desirable but not mandatory. The candidate must then attend a police academy, usually six months in length and then be on a probationary period usually one year in duration. Some department have their first year officers work in the prison system, some work traffic patrol. Each city/county/state has it's own requirements. A pre-school, elementary or high school teacher requires a college degree and then several years as a student teacher and a teaching certificate. A college teacher(professor) requires a masters or doctorate degree in the field being taught. Requirements vary by school/city/county/state. A truck driver usually requires a high school diploma, a special license, a clean DMV record, a physical and various special amendments to the license depending on what you carry, i.e. hazardous waste, etc. Each state has it's own requirements. Sales clerk positions, as you know, are frequently filled by young men and women that are currently still in high school so as far a formal education is concerned none would be the answer. I personally prefer those clerks who can actually make change for a dollar and those having large breasts always get my sales. Try talking to each of these people and find out for yourself, the teacher, police officer and sales clerk should be easy. You can probably talk to a truck driver at any grocery store or Wal-Mart when they make deliveries or call a local trucking company. Stop by the ER at you local hospital. Every ER has doctors. Many of them are in residency. They don't bit either. You'll learn a lot more doing the research than you will listening to me. Good luck. Oh, one more thing, learn to use spell check!
