My lap lol seriously my rabbit is a lap rabbit and will sleep really good if he is on my lap with me sitting in the rocking chair watching tv. If I move and put him down he makes a whiney sound. I swear he is part dog lol. But I did try a blanket and he didn't like it. He would rather sleep on the plastic at the bottom of the cage than anything else. I do put soft wood bedding in there but he just moves it out to the potty area. I am planning to switch to something else though when we get back to the pet store. I know I was told to never leave them on just wire it is uncomfortable for them and can get legs caught and get hurt and people wouldn't even notice because it isn't like most bunnies complain. Ask your local petstore and they can give you some ideas just remember rabbits will bite just about everything put in their cages just like a baby.

I have two female lop ear rabbits. Both are outdoor rabbits and they sleep in a hutch that has a bedding area with a pan that is filled with Care Fresh and hay. Stay away from litters made from softwoods, like pine or cedar shavings or chips, as these products are thought to cause liver damage in rabbits who use them.

The worst thing you can use for bedding in any small animal is pine or cedar shavings. These cause kidney damage. I didn't know this until a few years ago. Now I use Carefresh and hay for my rabbits. They are litter trained and use this to rest in as well. I also put carpet remnants in their cages so that their feet don't get sore. Hope this helps.
PS you can get Carefresh at your local pet store.

don't use pine or cedar shavings unless they are kiln dried. they both have a oder that is to strong for rabbits nose and can cause nasal irritation. plus they have cemicals in them that can cause liver damage.
carefresh is a great bedding, woody-pet is too (it is a pellet bedding that is made for horse stalls), hay and straw are good (but don't use alfalfa as it has a high fat content and if the rabbit eats to much of it, it could get obese), fabrics are okay as long as you know for sure that you rabbit won't eat it (it can cause blockage in the intestines and that can lead to death), feline pine is also good. stay away from any cat litter that has deoderizing elements and clumping cat litter, corn cob bedding also works, if you must use shaving use aspen or hemp.

confident rabbits do take place to sleep. they ought to get their capability too! rabbits while dozing will shop their eyes closed, and tend to sleep purely for an hour. they are very lively little animals an do no longer tend to sleep so so generally. that's in basic terms oftentimes at random

Rabbits sleep on the wire, or if you're nice, a small board set on the cage floor. They don't need to burrow like mice, although they'd really prefer to.

Mine sleeps on a blanket or her carpet in the kitchen. She doesn't like the linoleum. No towels - they get caught on toenails. Newspaper or care fresh for the litter box. NO soft wood shavings - bad. Make sure that you offer hard chews though.

Wood shavings works well for keeping clean, but I'm sure they'll sleep on a warm blankie, towels or whatever, but for smell and comfort try cedar shavings...Good Luck.

Their feet...they will lay down to take a rest anywhere, but they usually sleep on all fours. I keep mine in wire cages as most breeders do and they sleep there just fine.
