Lady, Black stools are usually a sign of digested blood. The iron in hemoglobin turns black This is most frequently a sign that you have a GI bleed from somewhere in you bowels and may be indicative of ulcer, tears or even cancer. If you are bleeding you may develop anemia as well! GO TO A DOCTOR ASAP!!!!!!!
I am a physician and I suggest that you get this checked out as there is no way that you can make an internet diagnosis. You need a thorough History and Physical Exam by a Physician as soon as possible

Have you been to webmd.com?
They have a symptom check thing that will let you know if you should see a doctor right away or if you can wait, it's really helpful.
