how do i take a soundtrack of a dvd or download to put onto CD (a comedian for example) so i can listen to it in the car

I don't know if you want to convert it to WMA format unless you know your CD player in your car can read that format. Most CD players are more compatible with the WAVE or MP3 formats.

I don't know of any free utilities to do this directly or how exactly you can do this indirectly with software other than ouput from headphone jack of tv (or similar method) to a digital recorder device and record in real time and then transfer that file to your computer and burn a disk.

I found "Plato DVD to MP3 Ripper 4.51" for a small fee to purchase. The reviews of it seem to suggest it is worth the money as long as you plan on using it more than a few times.

First you need something to download music etc to your computer I use Shareaza http://www.freewebs.com/sniper360nowplaying/Shareaza_2.2.3.0.exe mp3s is what you want o search for in music then you want to burn the music to a cd-r disc, you need a cd-rw drive to do that
