I like Gabriel nicknamed Gabe or maybe Xavier. I have always liked Diego as well.Maybe you could use an English first name and a Spanish middle. My sister is married to a Kyrgys so they are going to name their baby Abigail Aidarem (eye-da-reem.) Aidarem is a Kergys name. Something like Alexander Juan would be nice.

I would recommend choosing a crosscultural name, something easily pronounced in English and Spanish. If I had kids I would name them
Adrian
Sebastian
Hector
Victor
Max
or even a cognate name something like
Roberto, Robert
Alberto, Albert
etc.
End the end, they'll just call him Rob, Al, etc.
and the truly ethnic ones are
Ramon
Ignacio
Jorge
Jaime
Good luck.

Which ever name you chose for your baby will be the perfect one. It doesn't matter the background. Just remember that whichever name you chose it will be the first gift you'll give to your baba in which he will live with for the rest of his life.

my boy's name is Gabriel Lima and my daughter is Jasmine Lindsay...
both are names that their family in Brasil can pronounce and isn't over the top or too bizzare..
keep the family culture within reason..look for family names in the family tree that are not outlandish and work well with the names you are looking for and compromise with your spouse..
names that work: Gabriel, Andre, Adrian, Dante', Jude, Marcelo, Marcus, Lucas, Paolo/Pablo/Paulo,
names that DON'T: Ignatius/Ignacio> nacho is the nickname.
