no. luxury implies that you can really get by without it. you can't get by without being loved. and that goes for all love - the love you have for your friends and family and humankind, not just romantic love.
i consider love a necessity. and i respect it well :)

No, love is definitely not a luxury.
Love is one of the the most essential things in life (along with food, air, water, shelter & sleep), far more important than money or sex, or even clothing in some places (which might be considered luxuries).

I dont know if I consider it a luxury, sometimes its a pain in the ***. I think its a necessary evil. Awesome when its good and hell when things are bad with the person you love.

too many people are in love in this world or have been in love for it to be a luxury.
a luxury is something that you WANT. not something that you NEED. everyone, in my opinion, needs love.
