Oh, you be thankful you don't have them yet! The first few times are exciting because you feel so grown up, but it's really such a pain that you have to deal with until you're like 40-50. You can probably expect it soon; I had all those for the longest time (yet it still sneaked up on me & caught me by surprise!). Talk to your mom, or some older woman you trust about it. Believe me, they LOVE sharing that stuff with younger people who haven't yet experienced it so don't be afraid to bring it up. Visit here if you want:

Hope I helped! But, seriously, enjoy this time while it lasts!!! ;)

Probably pretty soon. Ask your doctor.

You may not want to hear this, but you should try to enjoy the time you have before your periods start. Periods SUCK, especially if you are like me and get incredible menstrual cramps. It won't be long before you're longing for menopause.

if your developing other puberty traits you will probably get it soon enough...but there isnt a definite date for when you will get your period....i had everything you had by the time i was 10 and the next year i got my period...but my friend didnt get hers till she was in 7th grade...so it all depends on your hormones...most girls get them between 9 and 16...maybe you should ask your mom or sister or grandma when they had theirs...and just google it on the web and you should get tons of websites and info....but yeah your not gonna want your period once you get it hun....its a pain in the ***. enjoy your freedom while you can

It sounds like it's almost time for Aunt Flow to visit...but I wouldn't wait for it. Trust me, I know this sounds cliche, but I was waiting, hoping for my period for three years. Always wanting to be grown up...to be a woman.

And then...one day they came. And I thought it was great....for one lousy day. Then the cramps came...and I realized that I am one lucky person for getting my period at 13...and not at 11.

But anyway, I don't want to scare you. But just hang in cuz it sounds like you'll be getting your period soon.

Talk to your mom or...

Well your periods should be every 28days or every 21days.To prepare for them you should have all of the necessities for it, and write down in a journal or calender when you start and end your period. GOOD LUCK.

Don't use the Internet for this: you have to have a doctor look at you. Please get to a physician for a gynecological examination and a general check-up. Your local public health clinic will help you. Please go: it's exceedingly important for your future health. If you're feeling shy about it--and a lot of kids are--they'll find you a female physician.

You didn't say how old you are but I didn't start my cycle until I was 16, my oldest didn't start hers until she was 17 and my youngest at 12. Each person is different so enjoy it while you can.

No one can tell you when you will get your first period. If you are that concerned, talk with your mom or doctor. You can find websites if you google it.

No one can answer that question for you. Every woman's body is different. Trust me. When it gets here, it won't be all roses and rainbows for you. I'm already counting the days until menopause.

Talk to your mom. Chances are you will get your period at the same age she got hers. Don't be anxious. Periods are not fun.
