He was a dark match referee at the Smackdown tapings that are set to aire tomorrow night. I read the spoilers just yesterday, Not assuming anything But i'm guessing he might be due to be resurrected or something.

I read the Smackdown spoilers for this week and the dark match was Taker and Kane w/ Paul Bearer vs Kennedy and MVP. I thought that he was released, but maybe he sighned again.

Bearer's character was not 'killed' in his last match as one responder put it. After the TV went off the air, Bearer was pulled out of the concrete and stretchered to the back but with the pretense that he was still breathing.

Thats the last time he was on tv. I believe either he or his wife or maybe even both had some serious health issues and that is the main reason he was "killed"
