My mom said right before I go into labor the baby will get really still. Has anyone found this to be true? My baby is extremely active.

Thanks!

Your baby may be just sleeping when he/she is not moving. Unless you have already lost or are in the process of losing your mucus plug then you should seek your obgyn. Other than that, I would not worry about it too much. I had an active baby too but when I was active my daughter would sleep and when i would sleep my daughter would be awake. so, maybe your child is just getting used to sleeping at night which is a good thing.

Not necessarily. Toward the end of your pregnancy your baby is not moving too much simply because it doesn't have the room and near the end it has dropped which also slows it's movement

It depends on the kid. My oldest son tapped danced his way from 6 mts to he was out the birth canal. My youngest got so quiet the last month that I had to keep using the stethoscope to listen to his heartbeat to see if he was still alive.
