Ok I get why they don't like me, because I've basically withdrawn myself and am incredibly shy, and don't talk to them, but I've been like this for a year, and they were fine with me, but just in the last few months they stopped liking me. Why now?

I guess hon cause after a year of trying to get you to come out of your shell, and you not talking to them they figured out that you no longerr valued their friendship and they were wrong to press it.

You dont talk to them, you dont want their friendship. They got the hint and they went away.

Who are they, and what makes you think they don't like you?

If you have been withdrawn and not talking to them, they may heve felt the relationship was one-sided and over time they realised they weren't getting what they needed or wanted out of the relationship. That might have led them to think you didn't value them or care very much about them and they just let the relationship go.

There are many possibilities of why they have stopped doing the things that made you feel that they liked you. What do you want from friends? Unconditional warm personal regard? Well, if people don't see a return on their investment in a friendship, they will let it go. To receive the benefits of a relationship, you must participate in the relationship.

Im not actually getting the big picture here with your question.

So without the full picture the best assumption I can come to is if you didn't "do" anything to cause them to not like you then..

Why don't you try not being so shy and see if that will improve the situation, because they might have figured since you weren't communicating to them much then you actually weren't into them at all so they went on and left you out of everything and just completely stopped communications with you.

""lack of comunication is the biggest culprit!""

Who are they??? It sounds to me like you are the one with the problem dear. If your sending fibs that you don't want to be a part of the gang, then they will not include you. You say you've been like this for a year now... get help!!! Find yourself again. They are obviously not fine with you the way you have become luv. Do something before you find yourself alone. PLEASE. Life is to enjoy...so get on with it.

They never really liked you to begin with, they were only acquaintances not "real" friends. You know a true friend because they come to you when you withdrawal. They pull you out of your shell. If you want to be their friends though you have to give to get. Maybe they just forgot about you since they don't see you. Make yourself more available and if they are friends they'll come around again. Good Luck! =)

Did you do or say something lately that could have hurt them? Are you being annoying or not talking enough? Maybe you just need to talk more, and get interested in what they have to say and what's going on in their life. If they seem mad at you, ask them why.

Kids are so clickish. If someone (who's a leader type) say's "we won't like a certain girl/boy" for some stupid reason, they all follow. Be yourself and be proud of whatever you do and damn whoever doesn't like it. You must be true to yourself.

Kids are fickle. Next week they'll be liking you again, so try to relax.
