Look for something that is close to: PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge (yours may not show PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge, just something like that)

PCI Express is a new bus that will replace PCI and also PCI-X used in workstations.

The reason, much faster and it scales better. All the pins are serial so when they are grouped, such as 16-bit video the clock in implied in the data. So the pins run faster.

It blows PCI away. A 1-bit interface is almost twice as fast as the fastest PCI. It is spec'ed to 32-pins but the biggest bus in the wild is 16-bits.

It is cheaper because putting pins on chips costs a lot, then routing the wires on the board adds to the cost too. It really can add up when there are so many pins that the PC-board adds layers so the wires can escape from under the chip.
