Not yet. When they add Carrie Underwood to the cast as Lex's Secretary Miss Tessbacher then it will have jumped the shark

Well, it is kinda cool seeing interpretations of other comic book characters as Clark encounters them before becoming Superman, which is completely out of continuity, but still...
He can only stay angst-ridden young Clark Kent for so long. He has to grow up sometime and put on the cape. Tonight's episode featured a guest-appearance by J'onn J'onzz, the Manhunter from Mars, which was kinda neat.
