Ever since the Katrina victims have been here in San antonio, Texas, the crime rate has shot up super high. Dont take me wrong, I know they are not ALL bad but the majority of them are causing chaos in our city. There has been news reports and they almost always mention, Katrina evacuees. A 15 year old kid stole my elderly mothers purse from her shoulder and when they caught him, suprise suprise, Katrina evacuee!! The lastest story today, two teenage boys were killed by having their throats sliced and one being shot on top of that.He tried to cover up his crime by burning a house with the two inside. Again,16 year old KATRINA EVACUEE!!!! When will they ever go home?!!!!!

I really do feel for the persons story stated below. I do understand that there are indeed people just trying to get their life back. This honestly does not pertain to you kind folks but rather to those who choose to do nothing but live off the welfare system and refuse to control their children or in some cases even refuse to control their own evil temptations. To all those Katrina victims that are actually attempting to resume a life, God Bless You!!

Most places, whether cities or towns that have Katrina evacuees
are saying the same things though this is the first I actually have
heard or read shall we say about any actual killing. I would like to
if I may, answer you by saying the evacuees are at home if they
are in America. However, they unfortunately take their habits
with them where ever they may go and it does not have to be
about Katrina at all. You see, some unfortunately are using the
devastation of Katrina as an excuse to live as they still choose.
Katrina was a wake up call for the Whole World and God wants
us to obey Him and that just is Not happening and He is tired of
it. Not all of Katrina'a survivors are like that it is TRUE and there
are those whom are grateful to God for His mercy in sparing
them and loved ones and friends and even those they met in
shelters. But understand that survivors of Katrina are people
from ALL walks of life, even sex offenders that have not been
caught by the law YET! People take their habits with them and
unfortunately some get even worst and are using Katrina as an
excuse to do so. Some seem to be solid Citizens and get jobs
and all. Some are professionals and know already what starting
over again means and then there are others that have found
another place to just do even worst than before instead of better
as I am sure most would think after their lives being spared. But
a lot of survivors are Not aware of the fact that they have been
given another chance as so many that are gone due to Katrina
taking so very many lives. God is watching all of this and all that
can help is Prayer as He will move them one way or the other.
That is truly God's business and all anyone can do is Pray for
them and ourselves. See what the Wake Up Call is all about.
I am so very sorry that All of Katrina's survivors can not see God Is and will be and is winning by leaps and bounds and it will
be His way or No Way. So many have gone out of their way to
help and have obeyed what God has told them to do in their
hearts as His earthen vessels and is the survivors want to Not
be greatful, He knows and will take care of All of this in His time
and not ours. So stay safe around these whom are dangerous and this includes thoses that are not Katrina's survivors that were already there. You see trouble had to be there or these
survivors could Not have found it! Stay safe and Pray for them.

Many of them CAN'T return home because they have NO home to return to. I am also a Texan, and I understand what your saying, but our government should make more of an effort to get things back on track. A lot of these folks lost thier homes, and many lost thier jobs that provided them a means to make a living. These folks were displaced and uprooted from thier lives and I do feel bad for thier situation, and in the case of these children running amok and causing problems....it's thier parent's responsiblity to step up to the plate and handle these heithens, but it shouldn't be blamed on Katrina...it's their parent's who are at fault. Btw, sorry to hear that happened to your mother, and I hope she is ok :)

Well, you need to ask Bush why he has failed in getting New Orleans back up and running in a swift and timely manner. He's failed at that and the Iraq war.
