~ my children at play....their imaginations are limitless. I always find myself stopping, listening to their creativity, storing it in my memory banks to withdraw from when they're older
~ when I am having a bad day, I need to collect my thoughts, keep my emotions in check
~ when one of my favorite songs comes on the radio...suddenly my focus is all on the lyrics and the beat...the pause is not for long because then I start to sing or bop around...yikes! Cover your ears, look away! lol

I like to pause for reflection or sometimes when I feel like I'm running way ahead of myself. I also pause to admire beautiful things that catch my eye.

Sometimes you just know...step back, breathe, focus...and then get back into the game. The "pause" is different for each of us.

So very many things...a certain tone in one of my sons voices...when I know they're about to say something they feel is really important, most anything in nature, something precious no matter how small...a look, a gesture, an expression...I could keep rambling....and, of course, when something inside of me tells me I need to. To simply stop and breathe.
