In order to make teenagers worth more, hold them accountable. Stop allowing them to make such mistakes as "there" for "their", etc. Count their answers incorrect unless they are spelled correctly, the grammar is correct, the punctuation is correct and they have capitalized everything that should be capitalized. This attention to small details will cause them to pay attention to small details in everything else they do.

As a healthcare worker, I know the details that are important...and I don't want someone working on me who will miss the details!

Most teens will learn from initial failure and find their way. Most will get motivated when they come across a field or job that grabs their imagination. Many, however, will continue to get "high" on video, booze, sex, drugs, etc. and will not pull out of it. These teens have parents who did not lay down the law early on - first grade - and just let junior go to school, get by, be happy playing games and not doing drugs and/or deny the obvious so they can get what they want out of life - at the expense of junior. Then, when he/she nears 18 the parent starts yelling "go get a job" and that is it. If such a teen does not come across a mentor or a counselor or a therapist or a coach, etc. they will end up on the streets or worse. Cannot motivate anyone without the knowledge or the experience of being motivated way back in elementary school.
We already know the market is moving overseas and low skilled workers are coming across the border in the millions to take even the least job from the citizen youth who is lazy and uneducated. Future is glum for the unmotivated. The American culture is already diluted and will so go the way of manners. We adults did not chance it all and refuse to be politically correct and so we got what we see all around us. Too bad. Too late.

Successful teenagers begin with beneficial parenting.
Teenagers need to stay in school, graduate, and go on to college, and choose a subject to major in that they have a genuine interest in.
The health field is a very good choice, because doctors, nurses and health care professionals are always in demand. One can acquire a job in almost any city or state in that chosen field.
Computer technology is another good choice for a career. It's a profession always growing and good technicians are always in demand.
If parents took as much time helping to educate their children, as they spend shopping, surfing the net, and chatting useless babble on their cell phones, their children would spent less time in school detention and juvenile halls.

I don't think this is true of all teens. My daughter started an internship at a local credit union while a senior in high school. When she graduated they hired her part-time. She is also a full-time college student. Money is her motivation. She drives a new car and she paid cash for it. I will however admit I am very lucky.
I do see alot of teens though that think they are entitled to anything that they want and blame their parents if they don't get it.

definite, it would want to be well worth attempting to post it. you likely received't get it printed, in spite of the undeniable fact that the adventure will be powerful. there is an threat you receives some significant comments that could want to strengthen your writing. you'll discover out how troublesome it really is to attempt to get printed and could be reasonable once you come to a call no matter if to make it a career or a interest (it feels like you've been contaminated--you're a author, no matter if you're being profitable on it or no longer). As on your determine's lack of enthusiasm, they could basically be attempting to guard you from rejection. One prankster filed the serial numbers off of a properly-study classic that he in reality plagarized for the try--maximum of his rejections were the conventional type--out of the twenty human beings he despatched it to, in uncomplicated words one reported, 'it is a useless ringer for the e book you copied it from', something basically determined that the already primary e book change into no longer well worth publishing. this is not basic to get printed, yet I nevertheless imagine you may want to attempt--do exactly not get disillusioned even as no individual needs to print it.

People who are working hard on their educations in 3rd world countries like China, and India (which by the way has the highest number of engineers in the world) will take over. They will still keep the Americans fed with fatty foods, and high-calorie soda, so nothing will change, really.
