why is baron davis not starting on the nba allstar team

because he's not as good as kobe or McGrady
there are atleast 2 or 3 more guards more deserving than davis in the west as well

Great question.......he's got a complete game. He can score, be a playmaker and has an all around very explosive game. Why is he not starting, because fans do the voting and not players and coaches. I have been an advocate of taking ALL the voting out of the fans' hands every since some moron voted for PJ Brown for MVP. Remember man, its not about skills or even about the season that your having (and that is so unfortunate). How is Vinsanity not starting for the east???. A lot of times its a popularity contest and fans vote like fans as opposed to those who have a genuine appreciation for the game. However, I have to say that fact that you recognize Baron Davis as a legitimate snub shows that you probably know the game of basketball. And I do mean snub.......for god's sake he's averaging 20 and 9!!!!
Brad Not Pitt, as a gambling man, you would lose whatever you gambled, beacause the only knock on him as a player is that he is sometimes injury prone, but he goes out and plays every night and leaves it all out there. He's on a weak team but his attitude is not part of the problem.

because the warriors don't get to have their games on national televisions so fans don't know how good he is which is wrong . i think that coaches should choose the starters because a lot of players get snub for the all star game because fans just pick the player they know and like not because of there skills and the way they played the first half of the season ..some players are hurt but they still get to be a starter in the game or some of them didn't even play most of the season and they still get picked.... i think that we as fans should pick the reserves rather than the starters.what they really need to do is let us pick the players who we want to play in the dunk contest because for the past couple of years that has sucked ..

thats because there are many better players than baron davis
they are probably 25 players better than baron davis at the moment
and davis dusnt have many fans out there
