they will give you a small amount of money for the house., are you still responsible for any payments on that house. Or will the person that buys the house will pay what is owed to the bank. Please answer as soon as possible.

As long as the mortgage note is in your name, you are responsible for the payments. It's on your credit report if you are the original borrower.

You are responsible for the balance of what you owe the bank unless the bank agrees that the other party can take over the house payments.

The borrower is responsible for the entire mortgage until the debt is satisfied.
