.....was it just to make Cage sensitive to wanting to help the ex- with the lost child after she left him? by the way, that movie sucked until the ending. That ending was CRAZY. I was very surprised. I think they made Cage unlikeable so you wouldn't be so broken-hearted at the end. any other thoughts on the movie?

I pondered this...how did they not die in the car? My only reasoning was when he turned his back to pick up the toy, they jumped out, but then how come he had flashbacks of reaching into the car to get her out? I'm still dumbfounded on that one. The ending was so not what I had expected, pretty ingenious to totally throw everyone for a curve. His "daughter" totally creeped me out, no emotion as she sets her father on fire. Ooohhhh! And all the men with no tongues! I was to busy picking my jaw up from the floor to be sad for Mr. Cage. lol

This movie just went horribly wrong. I think if we all saw the original, it would make some sense, but really......WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!!

i didn't like this movie as i fell asleep in the middle so it did not hold my interest.
