It's way too early to tell.
First of all we dont know how good the US will be or if we'll even qualify.
Second, we don't know which group we'll fall under. If we fall under South AFrica's group and put an asian and a weak european team then US will luck out. If they fall under the group of death then it's bye bye.
Third and last. Freddy Adu is the most overrated player I've seen in a long time. They guy hasn't accomplished jack in the pros and people are already considering him the savior of US soccer when there are guys 10000x much better than him out there. Landon Donovan, Damarcus Beasley, Clint Dempsey, Eddie Johnson, even young Justin Mapp is better than Adu, so people do me a favor and let go of that kid. He's not that good. Actually he's not even good. He's just average.

They have to qualify first. Freddy Adu should be ready to go by then. I'm optimistic because they did so well in 2002 and bombed in 2006. Just never know what to expect.
