The titanic actually was a real ship that sank off our coast here in nova scotia.....the movie was not an accurate portrayal of all the events..they made it into a love story..........

Kinda sorta. Of course, the Titanic sank and the movie is realistic to that. But as for the whole love story thing, nope that was made up. The characters never even existed.

The tragedy of the boat sinking was real, and I'm sure that was some kind of love story on the boat, but I don't think it was an exact one like Jack and Rose.

well yes 1912 i think,find in a history book at any library, the ship hit an iceburg, most of the artifacts are in a halifax museum..start reading, lots of stuff will wow yah!!
