Alright, so most people I know spell it as "yeah", but some people I know spell it "yea". Which do you prefer and why?

I spell it Yeah. I don't know why really, I just think that is the correct way.

I personally spell it as YEAH pronounced YEH. I think YEA is more of a YAY...just my thoughts

yeah means "yes". Yea is pronounced "yay", as in a cheer.
