I have experienced this problem and it can be very frustrating! There is actually a type of tubing that you can buy to run your electrical cords through. It's made of a very hard plastic so that if bunny would chew on it, it would take him a very long time to chew through and you would most likely catch him before he got to the cord. It's not cheap but it does work. The only thing is that I cannot think of the name of it and my husband is asleep. For some reason I think he mentioned Radio Shack, but I would think Lowe's would have something like that and for a cheaper price. Just be careful, your bunny could get electrocuted and die. So if he's out and about watch him carefully. I read that the reason they do this is because they are attracted to a hum that the cords make. Maybe???

There are two things you can do.
Run all of your cords in plastic tubing like PVC pipe or run the cord from the maching directly to the wall and then tape it to the wall all the way to the outlet.
I have had house rabbits and I taped most of my cords.
THe bun was not allowed into the computer area as that was just to many cords.
They make a plastic stuff that you can bundle the cords in and put it over them and heat shirk it so it is one solid cord. Sold at auto parts stores. They run wiring inside of it on motorcycles and cars. It works but is only a fis the bunny can chew through it but it will take longer.
Those bunnys just love to chew cords. But they are such cute house pets.

I would suggest only having your bunny in a bunny proofed room and only letting it out in the rest of the house while supervised. If this is not possible, you might try getting PVC pipe ( small but big enough to fit all of the cords) and putting the cords through it. It may not look too pretty but it would work. You could always paint it or something I guess.

This is a very common bunny behavior problem. I haven't heard of anything that really works. I can only say bunny proof better. Maybe put blockade up when the bunny is out so he can't get to cords.

completely normal rabbit behaviour. you have to only let him our in a rabbit friendly envioroment which in this case means a) 100% cover the cords by means of wooden box or running them through the walls or b) only letting him out in another room c) build him a safe run.

I suggest buying a bottle of bitter apple from the pet store or buying split loom cables from the hardware store. You can wrap the cables or spray them down and then each time he goes near it clap loudly. http://www.rabbit.org
