I know of at least three other uses for beeswax.

You can have a few threads stick together by sliding them all at once. back and forth, on a block of wax. It will make a really strong multi-thread small rope.

You can also apply wax under a Snow toboggan or sled, specially if it's made out of wood. It will make it slide much faster as it fills any small scratches that the sled might have.

And last, you can use it with old type chest of drawers, the one that slides wood against wood instead of those modern ball bearing tracks. Rub wax on the track on each side of the drawers and it will make them slide much easier and more silently. This can also be done using a regular bar of soap.

I'm not sure but I think it was also used to make wood tables water resistant.

You can use it for making batik items. Ukrainians use beeswax for making pysanky - Ukrainian Easter Eggs.

You can melt it and pour it into molds. It makes beautiful hanging ornaments. You can add fragrance too. Also, when I was little, a yummy treat was to chew on bees wax that had been stored in the honey jars....yum!!! Better than any gum or candy.
