can anybody help me determine the vallue of c.1923 Stocks from Deleware?

i have two stockcertificates from a company called Stevenson Gear Company in Delaware. Dated 1923. we canot find this company anywhere with the searches that We have tried! can someone tell me where to go to find a FREE search of this company and its holding/history?

Is there a Transfer Agent on the certificate? Like the name of a bank? You can try to track them down for starters.

Otherwise you might have to open a brokerage account and deposit the stock there. They will figure out what you have and credit your account. It might take a couple of weeks or so but that may be the best way to go.
