Gotta love Christian Bale. But Gary Oldman will always be the man. Cillian Murphy (sp?) was great, too.

Cillian Murphy aka Jonathan Crane aka Scarecrow.

He did a phenomenal job with the little screen time that he had. Despite flaws in the way his character was written he managed to make you focus on his performance. His body language, delivery of lines & general demeanour did his character justice and brought it to life.

I thought it was very effective; if he had more time he could have easily stolen the movie from Christian Bale, who I thought was also great.

However, Crane is my favourite. He was creepy, calculating & clever!

It would have to be Christian Bale. He owned the character of Bruce Wayne. I thought he gave a lot of power to role, having us feel sorry for, hate, then cheer Bruce/Batman. I don't think many other actors could have pulled it off.

For me, it's a tie between Christian Bale and Laim Neeson. For worst, I'd be torn between Katie Holmes and Cillian Murphy.

Liam Neson. His acting was so believable. He played a diabolically fiendish character so well and on key. By the end of the film you really stop and think of his true intensions twards Bruce wayne.
