Their little ones, that is what they mean....they will usually call their children shorties also, its an affectionate expression.

Actually everyone calls everybody shortie so it wouldn't mean girlfriend cause guys call me shortie...
I think it's just a indirect name to call people like...boy or girl

Believe it or not short girls r more hotty 4 guys they see them as sexual pleasure. So 4 their enjoy n also to show their interest they call.

It just an expression relative to whomever is calling you that. There is no definition really. It means different things to different people. As long as they are not calling you a bad name, you are good to go!!

the same as boo or wifey. it is an endearing term. it can have a whole range of diff meanings. it could be a random person all the way to a girlfriend depending.
