Im am not a republican I am an independant. I am just a conservative who sees the way my country is going and would like everyone to wake up.

I am also conservative (full disclosure). I think the liberals are all about power. Nothing else matters except climbing higher and higher on that political ladder. They claim to be tolerant, they are not. Look at how they attack our current president, Christians, anyone who disagrees with them. They claim to be the party for the minorities. They are not. Affirmative action is racism. Do they think that minorities are not smart enough to get into college or get a job on their own merits? They are the people who denounce the death penalty yet support the murder of unborn BABIES by calling it a woman's choice. Yes these are generalizations, I realize not all liberals are the same. I could go on and on but I know long answers get boring. But think about entitlements, "villages" raising our children, taxation, security of our country, throw more money at education, dumb down the children.........

It is not about liberal versus conservative....or democrat versus republican. That is just a ruse! The few so called elite families, that control almost all the money, and want to control it all, are the real that we all need to wake up to!! These people own the Federal Reserve and the World Bank, and they are trying to establish what they call a new world order. They will succeed unless we all unite to fight them. We out number them, so the only way they can win, is if we let them. Their ideas are light years away from being liberal, though! From what I have seen on here, the right wings conservatives, with the most neocon ideals are the ones that have ideas that are closest to the New World Order's ideals. But, neither party are anywhere near as evil as these people! These people have all the power, because they control most of the money, and they have been working on this plan of theirs for decades, or maybe even centuries. But, they stay behind the scenes. Most of the top level politicians, though, are in with them, so we really have to be careful who we trust!!!

this country is no more exclusively yours than it is george w's.! it's everybody's country. get THAT straight!! i am a conservative as well, I AM NO LIBERAL!!! i'm registered republican, however, i refuse to wear any responsibility for bush since i did not vote for him in either election. i've consistently voted against g.w. because i can clearly remember his father's pseudo regime.
i do support the troops with all my heart! (my husband is re-enlisting in june) BUT i'll be the first to tell you, I HATE this war! it's gone on long enough to prove that nothing will change no matter how long US presence is there. enough of the bravest people this country has to offer have been killed for g.w.!
mothers want their children home and children need their parents home. this "war" looks less and less like an actual "cause" and more like one man's twisted quest.
the political affiliations you mentioned are diametricaly opposed. it's like saying you're a southern yankee. it just struck me wrong. but that's the funny thing about q&a forums, a person is supposed to be free to post opinion without having to worry about malicious e-mails like the one i got from you

Amen, liberals are charlatans and people are starting to wise up to it more and more. Morality in this country has deteriorated significantly just in the last few decades due to liberals cramming their communist ideals down everyone's throats.

Well, Travis...get used to it. What you call communist, a lot of people just call "good thinking".
What the U.S. has become is seriously in need of reform. Look around you. Look around the U.S.... at the racism, the intolerance, the greed, the corruption... and tell me that you want to keep it just as it is. Because if you can tell me that, you are a part of the problem.

They're terrible. More government, more rules, more bureaucracy, more regulations. Typical liberal (communist) stuff. They claim to do it all in the name of compassion when it's nothing more than more government dependence. Liberals always look to to the government to solve their problems.

To wake up, please read Bill O'Reilly's book, "Culture Warior".... it's sure to be a wakeup call from hell.
He's also an independant... and he is full of facts and not just opinions... that's the best part.
