Now that the UN has control will they do what is needed or just blame the USA and again do nothing to help .

Afghanistan is the place to show the world that the UN can do something other than blame. It actually will not take much to show they are worth keeping.

Yes NATO is the one and it is trying very hard to do a good job. As you can see by some answers many do not know the difference.

I think you're confusing the UN with NATO. The UN does not control Afghanistan in any way. Afghanistan has its own elected government that runs the country. NATO controls the security forces which are mostly American.

The UN is a horribly corrupt and useless organization. Of course they won't. What good has the UN done in the past 25 years? The UN building should be turned into a hotel or condos.

Since when has the UN had control. No one ever listens to what people say in the UN. Not Iran, not North Korea, Not Sudan, not Israel, and not the U.S. The UN is pretty much worthless.

NATO is in Afghanistan. UN should focus on getting their fat, diplomatic a**** into Dafur
