Since the 1960s, the US Air Force has been quite capable of destroying the entire world. This is a fact. What is always lacking is political will. Our military is ALWAYS sent into a conflict with their hands tied. If the political will was there, our air forces could easily remove any part of Iraq (or anywhere else, for that matter) from the face of the earth. We have the weapons platforms, the weapons and the personnel to do it. Never question the ability of our military. Look to the pols for your answers, and good luck with that!

Iraq is a big country. There are many places to hide. If the US left without finishing the job (what the Democraps want to do), there would be wholesale slaughtering of innocents by the terrorists, they would have a base from which to plan and execute terror attacks against US interests the world over and they'd have all the oil revenue they could ever want to fund their nefarious activities. The idea that if we cut and run like little schoolgirls will bring an end to the conflict is pure idiocy. Evil must be met with strength for the good. We are the only nation that can muster the muscle to oppose these murderers. They must be stopped there to keep them from spreading their hate and murder any further. But we have a major political party in this country (the Democrats) that is hell-bent on the US being defeated. Why do you think that is? And did you vote for them??

If the US left, do you think we would ever have a president again with the cajones to order a military bombardment in a place where we f*d up? Or even a place that we didn't?
Say what you want about Bush in general, no president we have in the next 16 years will be as agressive because they will still be trying to "live down" the negative labels he has been branded with and trying to show just how different they are from him.

Terrorist have training sites in Afghanistan and Iraq now. All they need is a room to teach how to make bombs. Dropping bombs is worthless if you dont have good intelligence. Terrorist are smart enough not to have big basses of operations.
