Apparently many people who answered this question did not bother to actually READ the question. Alaska and Hawaii are not in the continental US. The western most point in the CONTINENTAL US is the Bodelteh Islands offshore from Cape Alava, Washington (124°46'W).

Do you mean the contiguous states? Or do you include Alaska? If so then it is in Alaska. They are on the same continent. If the contiguous states then it is on the Olympic peninsula of Washington State.
