If the future was prewritten no one would be responsible for anything, because it was not in their control. I don't think that this is true, and that people probably thought of the future being predestined, so that they won't be blamed for something that happended to them, by their conscience. Or, they just were looking for a reason to why bad things happened to them and not others, even though they did not do anything that wrong, to possibly deserve it.

And if the future was predestined, then [if you believe in heaven or hell] there would be no heaven or hell, because what you did wrong [or good] was already determined to happen, and you cannot be blamed.

Yes, future is prewritten, no matter what we do we cannot change it. It is based on the karma which we did in the previous births. Yes, I always have something go bad when it rains. That is why I associate rain to pain and sadness. Good question, keep it coming!

Assume: There is a large bag. It contains n number of balls of n/2 shades (colors). n is very very large. Now, you are called to draw a red ball from it. You made 1000 attempts, but could not lay your hands upon a red ball randomly.

Does it mean that drawing a red ball from the bag is an absolute "impossibility'. No, it is highly "improbable". Rather there is always one chance, out of complex denominator, for picking red from the bag.

That n is the statistical variability (which is being further compounded by omnipresent DISORDER - every next step into future). And, one remote chance is the little possibility of everything collapsing onto.

Physics is always in pursuit of answering logical questions ie to its so far developed tools.

I have had experienced astrological predictions made by certain persons have come true. An astrologer predicted that my wife was carrying a baby and we didnt know it ourselves. We got the test done and found it positive [2nd month]

I feel that our thoughts can change the future, say, if we have a stong image in mind, like a house I want to build for myself. I should then continually support and strengthen the image by continual goal setting and monitoring programs, then the mental image will transform into reality, no matter what picture the stars foretell

Saying that the future is prewritten implies that there is someone to pre-write it. There isn't. It's all a superstition.

If predestination were a fact, then God of Christianity could not have given humans a free will. Predestination and Free Will ,the two are diametrically opposed.
It could all just be a play and we are really bad actors that know nothing about ad lib.

why not just live in the present? those who forget their past are doomed to repeat it, so if you want to know all about what might happen in the future or wish to just go ahead and skip ahead to it... your past will creep up and haunt you, and all the things being faced today will come back and bite you in the ***
