I've missed a couple of episodes and turn CSI on tonight and Grissom is not on. Where is he? Did he leave the show?

William Petersen the actor who plays Grissom is just taking some time off to do a play. He is suppose to return in Feb. On the show they have him leaving to teach a class at a college and will be back. The show is just not the same with out Grissom

Fear not...Gris will be back! The storyline has him conducting a seminar or something at....U Mass, I think. The actor is taking some time off from the show to be in a play.
