Quite frankly, I think both cater more to corporate and military interests than they do to the American people's interests. If they cared about the American people, we would have outstanding public schools, New Orleans would be half fixed by now. We wouldn't be in Iraq and we wouldn't see a resurgence of Taliban in Afghanistan because Bush would have made sure the job of making sure the country was secure and rebuilt was done in a swift and timely manner. If they cared, our health care would be fixed and there would be no threats to our social security system.
Democracy is a great idea but it is gone once corporations dominate our government.

that's no longer a question of even if a 2-party gadget is problematic. that is. the challenge is, a thanks to do you remove that gadget? there is not any way you would possibly want to legislate it away, even with if Democrats and Republicans without caution agreed to the idea. you won't be able to end 2 activities from having the most substances and having the flexibility to garner the most votes for this reason of being contained in the course of the aisle. you won't be able to apply the judiciary, they have little administration over elections, barring the 2000 decision in Bush v. Gore. there is not any authentic source for change except the human beings themselves, and enable's settle for it, there is not any longer that wide of a force to regulate it. How do you inspire this variety of huge huge difference, and in case you would possibly want to, are you able to assume that it received't change correct decrease back later? human beings like having 2 options, it makes issues easier, or perhaps a pretend dichotomy merely feels correct to many. there is not any longer a lot to be executed about it, undeniable and straightforward.

Neither represent American interests. All the two do is make false promises during campaign season and then satisfy the lobbyists and personal interest groups when they get elected.
The two party system in general does little to represent American public opinion. In recent years we've seen alot of elections won by "I voted for him because I don't like his opponent" voters.

Neither party truly represents American public opinion because there are 300,000,000 Americans and not all of us agree on everything (thank the Gods!). If you are trying to decide which party to join, find the one that stands for what you believe in most. Research both parties, and do it FAIRLY.

The Democrats are much more skillful, due to their Socialist background, at using propaganda to manipulate public opinion. Then they take polls.
This is actually why our Founding Fathers set up our government to protect us against democracy. They understood this process and how it is used to enslave the populations of a Democracy. So, they set up a Republican form of government that forbade Government from taking such actions as tyrants usually do.
