it looks like a big slug covered in snot :) but it can come out in chucks/pieces...thats what mine did and it was like long spaghetti style boogers!! sorry i know its gross but its true :) lol

congrats. Im in the same boat you are. I was due on the 21st and i think i just lost mine today. I've been reading on it all day because i wasnt sure thats what it was. But what everyone has said is right.
Snot like, can but doesnt have to have blood, doesnt mean you will go into labor right away can be a week or 2, can come all at once or small pieces.

Yay! You must be happy to be a step closer. But, my book says losing your plug does not mean that you are going into labor...could be days or even weeks still. I am sure that you are now seeing your doc at least once a week, so talk to her then.

Here is the gross answer it looks like snot and often has a blood tinge or look of a string of blood in it, sorry to be graphic

it is going to be really thick and kind of like gelatin. but not always because sometimes it will come out in small amounts that it might be kind of stringy.

pretty much looks like snot..and sometimes bloody and in a clump almost...or stringy...good luck and congrats..
