i mean, my friends are always saying so and so is hideous/totally ugly etc, but i have to say i've so far never met a young /healthy person who i would consider totally ugly, most people are not that below average and have some nice feature about them.

The person in mind is not a great looker but their uglyness is their attitude toward people.He has better this,she is a lose person,that child is illmannered,that parent should be locked up fo dressing their child wrong.This is the ugly American.

I know. When I really think about it, no one is actually ugly. It doesn't exist. It's all based on personal opinion of what you believe to be attractive/beautiful. For every person that is called 'ugly' there is another person who thinks they are beautiful. No one is right or wrong since it's an opinion. Some people have certain traits that more people find attractive for whatever reason. I guess those are the people that are considered 'beautiful'. It means nothing, just that a lot of people share the same opinion. If there is anyone I think is 'ugly' it's because I personally do not like the way they look and I would never want to look like them. A lot of times, it has to do with the person having a disfigurement of some sort or a massive amount of scarring, etc.. In that case, it doesn't even count as 'ugly' because it's probably from a disease or an accident. I think it's impossible for anyone to actually be ugly unless they are deformed and that's just because we find it 'unnatural' and weird. Deformities are not ugly, people just have a hard time accepting them as 'beautiful' sometimes.
I stopped calling people 'ugly' years ago when I realized it was pointless. All I was doing was expressing my personal opinion in a rude way and no one cares what I think. Sometimes I'll say "I do not think that person is attractive at all" but that's as far as I go with it. I can see a nasty, gross, filthy drunk homeless man in a gutter and think about how if he shaved, took a shower, etc. that he'd look no different than anyone else.

Well I personally hate calling people ugly and stuff but I have to admit I know a person that isn't so attractive. She has bad teeth they are crocked and well not so clean. Her hair always looks greasy, she slouches, she has a short neck, a manly voice, and a huge mole on her face. Plus she’s going out with a mentally challenged guy. Yea I know the description isn't that bad but if you ever saw her in person she's not so great looking. I don't think she realizes that cuz people still talk to her, which is good cuz its better not to put herself down. I guess I seem like a total ***** for telling you this but you asked. But yea I know what you mean when people call others ugly that aren’t that bad.

there's a woman i comprehend who's grotesque interior and out. No person is ugly. Ugly comes from within if a person is judgmental of others, racist, or a hater of people or animals.
Attitudes are ugly, people aren't.

I knew a kid in high school who had a form of that disease that ages children before their time. He looked like he was in his 60's at age 15, and had a horrible surgical scar just under his hair. He was also as crabby as an old geezer. Back then we mostly saw him as a creepy freak of nature but looking back, you have to feel sorry for his situation.
Btw, he died pretty young, maybe 18.
