I have lived a long time and I have been involved in politics and I cannot think of a single Republican politician who was ever honest and courageous enough to say the truth about such personal matters.

That's a tough one...most Republicans tend towards conservative values, of which God is a large part of.

Athiest Democrats, though...that's another story!

If there are any, I don't know of them or how they would get elected because of the religious right.
