ok basically the info, first there became no Vietnam warfare in accordance to government data. It became a conflict. The U.S. under no circumstances formally declared warfare on North Vietnam. The Vietnam conflict had 5 different presidents deliver troops in different capacities. First became Dwight D. Eisenhower, who sent "advisers" to survey, prepare and checklist returned on the conflict. lots of those advisers died for the period of guerrilla operations. John Kennedy accompanied in shape with sixteen,000 "advisers" being in Vietnam and/or Southeast Asia on the time of his death. LBJ, Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford have been the different 3 to deliver troops over there. Ford sending them to actual execute our evacuation plan.

We actually won the Vietnam war militarily. The Communists held on to a losing situation because they had hope their agents in the US would be able to demoralize Americans into giving up. They were correct.

Beware - we are seeing a repeat of this regarding Iraq.
