Where do they first begin to show? Like what area of their stomach...and usually how long does it take before a woman begins to show?

"Showing" occurs at different intervals for people, and while it's hard not to compare pregnant bellies, it really is a good policy to avoid comparison. A mother who has had previous children will likely show more quickly in her pregnancy than a mother pregnant for the first time. Also weight gain, whether or not you've had previous abdominal surgery, the tone of your muscles etc. will all play into account. That said, many women start to feel the need to be out of their regular clothes by the 3-4 month range. This doesn't necessarily mean maternity clothes for everyone at this point.

Hi! If your a thinner person pregnancy can show sooner then if your a bigger person! I know I started out my first pregnancy at 130 pounds and I'm 5'8! My pregnancy didn't start to show until about 5 to 5 1/2 months! At very first you'll feel a hard lump right above your pubic bone and as your baby grows and your pregnancy continues the baby gets higher and higher! At around 4 to 5 months your baby is usually in your lower abdomen and at about 6 months your baby should be at about your belly button or center! Some women say that they can see a change in the size of their stomachs as early as 2 months in pregnancy! I guess it's just different for everyone! There are tons of website you can go to and get details about this stuff! All you have to do is type pregnancy into your search bar! I also heard that you show quicker with your second and third and so on pregnancies then you do with your first! All I can say is good luck....I hope I helped!

Every woman and every pregnancy is different. With my first child I didn't show until I was 8 months and then it was a tiny ball in my lower stomach. But with my second & last pregnancy, I started showing at about 2 to 3 months. I gained only 20 lbs with each pregnancy. Another unusual thing about my pregnancies is with my first everyone assumed I would have a tiny baby b/c I didn't show for so long and with my second everyone thought the baby was going to be huge b/c I showed immediately. But the opposite was true my first was a rather large baby and my last was a very tiny baby.

For women in general I say she begins showing in her belly first, It will be like a ball underneath her clothing and they usually start showing between 4 and 5 months gestation. But like I said each person is unique. Good Luck.

Generally, going by doctored or abandoned bellies, stomach is a sluggish indicator of pregn. - if first cognizable symptom is being traced. In fact, this organ is never in a hurry to exhibit the fruit. My spouse could not be identified till in the 7th month working place. When I could record the fact just at 8 weeks.

It requires some observational skills and a bit of investigative wickedness. Albert Einstein could see, so early and exclusively, that the nature is now pregnant with revelation to "relative time".

I think very first subtle signs are reflected in the PINK on face, followed by swellings around requisite places, which the colleagues or local adolescent boys can very easily decipher - say by 12-15 working weeks.

Thereafter, the majesty of Himalayas can not be hidden by the sheets of cloths.

First it depends on the woman. And how many pregnancies she has been through! It starts in the lower stomach area (below the belt so to speak) and grows up and out depending on the position of the baby and how she is carrying it. It is not un-common for the first-timer not to show until around 16-20 weeks depending on how much weight she has gained. Then again when I was pregnant with my third one I was "showing" at 12 weeks and into my maternity clothes. Although I had only gained a couple of pounds. Each pregnancy is different for every woman.

Well, for me the first thing to show that people knew I was pregnant was my boobs.. I am 12 weeks and 4 days pregnant and am beginning to show though I have not yet gained any weight. Women usuallly vary when they begin to show. I am showing in the lower abdomen area. But my guess is they begin showing anywhere from 12 weeks to 24 weeks is average. It's just a guess though.

Well it all depends on the women, with the first pregnancies you won't show for a while, with my first I had a small belly popping out just below the bellybutton at about five months and with clothes no one new I was pregnant unill I was about six months along but with the second one I showed at about three months, they say once you have been pregnant your muscles are already stretched out so you show quicker once you get pregnant again and it also depends on how big the person is I have seen women that where eight months along and I could not tell because of there weight.

I've had 3 kids...my first one I didn't show until I was about 5 months pregnant. The stomach muscles are much tighter the first time around. My later pregnancies I showed earlier, around 3-4 months. I noticed a difference early on around my waist. Pants seemed a bit snug...but I still wasn't visibly pregnant to other people. Women carry differently. My belly got HUGE...although from behind you couldn't tell I was pregnant. All women are different.

Well every woman is different but usually its in the lower abdomen that women show first. And if its the first pregnancy she won't start to really show until about 5 or 6 months. After the first pregnancy women show sooner. But again, every woman is different.

It depends on the woman's body size/figure to begin with. Smaller women usually begin to show about 3 months, larger women show towards 5 months or later, if at all.
