Usually it would be the vital statistics office in the county where you were born. Sometimes you can order it online or you have to give them a call and they tell you what information they need from you and you have to send it to them with the fee. Then they should send the birth certificate to you in 4-6 weeks.

Google the Health Department in the County/State you were born in, get the phone number and call them. There is usually a fee of less than $20 to have it sent to you.

Office of vital statistics.Bring a drivers license,usually it only takes about an hour or so,Just had to get my kids...
