china is a tyrannical evil place and they persecute anyone who doesn't play by their communist rules.
That's why i haven't bought anything made in china in a very long time.

that is because individuals often do not learn about what chinese is or perhaps a lot less about Falun Gong. in the event you do, they don't desire to jeopardize their agency opportunities with China. at the same time as for the yankee authorities, it would not want to electrify any political conflict that would further stress military and fiscal ties. So the yankee authorities received't difficulty China and China will proceed to get alongside advantageous with American authorities and vice versa.

I "care" in a philosophical sense. But frankly, I think America's gotten itself in enough trouble already by getting involved in the religious beliefs of another country. Do you really think that the administration and president who (1) referred to several foreign nations as being part of an "axis of evil," (2) denied the existence of several non-mainstream (but very real) American religions, and then (3) set up a government agency to cater to mainstream religions in direct violation of the constitution... really cares about a harmless fringe faith on the other side of the world? We won't even help the Tibetans, for Christ's sake!

1 - a lot of people don't know what Falun Gong is
2 - We are not the police force of the world - even though we do stick our nose into things for our own self interests
3 - Maybe that's it - it does not affect us

China is on the other side of the world...and the persecution rarely gets mentioned or any attention in the media. I have heard of it but only on public access television and it was in the middle of the night..it is sad but what can we do???

some Americans do care about it (especially if you are Chinatown customer) but it depends on the government. I think Bush will stay away of China intern politic now.... because China has an important role in US economy. Beside America will not attack if there is no oil, there is no profit.

Well, "Stanely", that question can be answered in this way:
Why don't the Chinese people care about the "persecution" of the Mormons in Utah, or even the Branch Davidians in Texas?

... China's to hard to take over... expecially since like america owes like over a 6 trillion debt to china..... (for 2006 i think the national debt was 12 trillion) Kind of off topic but while where talking about the flaws of america.... they say that Imperialism is bad and stuff, but America's the most imperialistic country there is. they have a few weak colony islands... for example.... peuto rico. and now their going to Iraq. Not that i hate america at all, but i jsut want to point that out

Because most of us who are real Christians can see Falun Gong for the phony, Moonie-like cult it is. You people are about as believeable as $cientologists and Mormons. This is why even the Red Chinese discriminate against you. Please get a clue.
